This is it. Now you can rent or purchase the full documentary and view in full HD online right here! If you've already downloaded the music to the album by Bill Laurance either at his website, at iTunes, or Bandcamp, then we would love for you to head over to Vimeo and add the film to your digital collection.
The film shows an incredibly candid view of the band just weeks before they released their grammy-winning album with their parent band, "Snarky Puppy". I filmed the band everyday for two weeks while they wrote, arranged, and recorded Bill's album which in May of 2014 was #1 on the iTunes jazz charts all over the world. The process was literally life-changing for me and I know it will be for their fans or anyone that has ever wanted to chase a dream against all reasonable odds.

This was shot on a Canon 1DC at 4K and down-converted to an H.264 2048x1080 frame size for Vimeo. I have noticed that the sections with post-crop are significantly softer because of the lower resolution. I would not suggest cropping very much on footage even if it is shot at 4k and the deliverables are in 2k.
All in all I was impressed with the image quality but the post-production is a pain in the ass for this camera. I would definitely go with a Scarlet with the 1DCs price point as of May 2014.
